TARBORO —
Amanda Marie Whitehead and Andrew Milton Davis IV were united in holy matrimony on December 29, 2012, at 4:30 pm at First Baptist Church in Scotland Neck, NC. Reverend Doctor Allen Cherry performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jackson Whitehead of Scotland Neck, NC. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Milton Davis III of Hobgood, NC.
Miss Katelyn Tyndall Whitehead, sister of the bride, of Scotland Neck served as maid of honor. Mrs. Elizabeth Uzzell Lilley, of Tarboro served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Sarah Gregory Sykes, of Scotland Neck, Mrs. Jessica Elks Watson, of Robersonville, and Miss Sarah Payton Davis, sister of the groom, of Hobgood. Mr. Andrew Milton Davis, III, father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. William Blanchard Davis, brother of the groom, of Hobgood, Mr. James Holt Thompson, of Scotland Neck, Mr. Matthew Jacob Boykin, of Tarboro, and Mr. Thomas Vann McDowell, of Scotland Neck.
Music for the ceremony was provided by organist, Mr. Walter Graham Byrum, Sr. Vocalist for the ceremony was Mrs. Janet Whitehead Thompson. The program attendants were Miss Hannah Tyndall Brown and Miss Rebecca Brooke Joyner.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Main Street Inn. A reception followed the ceremony at Scotfield Country Club, given by the parents of the bride.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Hobgood Academy, and 2012 Magna Cum Laude graduate of East Carolina University. She is now in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Master’s program at East Carolina University.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Tarboro High School, and a 2012 graduate of Pitt Community College. He is a self-employed farmer.
Following a honeymoon cruise in the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten, the couple is residing in Hobgood, NC.

Corbett/Chasse Wedding
Brittney Joyce Corbett and Kenneth Robert Chasse, Jr. were united in marriage on April 6th, 2013, at 5:30pm at the Imperial Centre in Rocky Mount. The Rev. Carrol Bradbury officiated the ceremony.
