The groom, formerly of Tarboro, is a graduate of East Carolina University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Yavar Ali Khan of Toronto.
They were married on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at seven o'clock in the evening at the Terrace Banquet Center in Toronto.
Both bride and groom are practicing optometrists in Toronto.
