Rhythmicity is a performance drum and percussion ensemble that draws from the vibrant and dynamic rhythms of West Africa to connect and engage diverse audiences and at 5 p.m. Sunday, Rhythmicity will perform at St. Anne’s Chapel and Event Center. St. Anne’s Chapel is located at the corner of Howard Ave. and McNair Road.
The eight-member Raleigh-based group performs West African drum music in a drum circle, something that is held at 5 p.m. every third Sunday at St. Anne’s.
Following their performance, Rhythmicity will give a short drumming session which will precede a jam session. Beginners are more than welcome and loaner drums will be available.
A $10 donation is requested and attendees are asked to BYOB and snacks to share.
