Six finalists in North Carolina Music Network's scholarship competition for $1,000 to use towards the musical goal of their choice. Sounds of Gold, an a cappella ensemble of 38 select voices. including Carol Banks of Tarboro, perform popular classics of both sacred and secular choral literature. Tickets $10 and can be obtained at the Blount-Bridgers House, Chamber of Commerce, Rusty’s Fine Gifts and the Veterans Museum or at the door. Sponsored by the Veterans Museum with proceeds go toward the renovation of the Colonial Theater downtown.
