Sidney Cleve Hobgood, 63, of Pinetops, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev.
John Melancon officiating.
Sidney was born June 11, 1946 to William Dewey and Eva Nanney Hobgood in Pitt County.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Eunice Lee Hobgood, Myrtle Hobgood, Evelyn Lucille Hobgood, and a brother, John Willie Hobgood.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Gail Hobgood of Bradenton, Fla.; two sons, Michael Ray Hobgood, and Bryant Keith Hobgood, both of Bradenton, Fla.; eight brothers and Sisters, Dewey Thomas Hobgood of Maryland, Jasper Allen Hobgood of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Douglas Lee Hobgood of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Peggy Ann Hobgood of Kinston, Betsy Carol Hobgood of Maryland, Bobby Eugene Hobgood of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Harold Willis Hobgood of Pinetops and Sylvia Eve Hobgood, of Morristown, Tenn.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Carlisle Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro.
