Ethel Meeks Harmon, 89, of Tarboro, died Monday, May 11, 2009.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her husband, Ford W. Harmon; two sisters, Bertha Meeks and Betty Davis; two brothers, Tom and Cecil Meeks.
She is survived by a niece, Debbie Davis and husband Roland of Stantonsbrug; four nephews, Leon Davis and wife Rena of Tarboro, Charles Meeks and wife Deborah of Greenville, Ricky Meeks and wife Dirtha of Greenville, and Tommy Meeks and wife Becky of Kinston, and several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro.
