Mary Wainwright Hayes, 95, of Tarboro, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Golden LivingCenter in Tarboro.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Stanley Buck officiating.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husbands, Fate Thigpen and William Douglas Hayes.
She is survived by three sisters, Betsy Hathaway and Dora Hathaway, both of Tarboro, and Margie Cullifer of Macclesfield; a brother, G.E. Wainwright of Tarboro, and a lot of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 3150 Western Blvd., Tarboro.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Carlisle Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Dora Hathaway, 3107 W. Chester Drive, Cambridge Commons, Tarboro.
