Horace Lee Wells, 76, of Tarboro, died Monday, April 10, 2009.
Funeral services were 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penders Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Hendricks officiating.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mildred Wells.
He is survived by two sons, Ron Wells and Kennette Alford, and Mike Wells and fiancee Amanda Davis; two grandchildren, Brittany Wells and Malorie Stickland.
The family received friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penders Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro.
