James Ray Johnson, 49, of Macclesfield, died Sunday, April 19, 2009.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Donnie Harrell officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Johnson; a daughter, Jamie Elizabeth Robinson of Cary; a step-daughter, Beverly Hobgood of Pinetops; a brother, Frank Linwood Johnson of Nashville; four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro.
