TARBORO — Mary Drake Stallings, 90, passed away on Tuesday, Nov., 6, 2012. Funeral Service will be held on 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mausoleum at Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Philip Deitz officiating.

She was preceded in death by sons; Julius Wooten Stallings, Jr., Almond Dupree Stallings, sisters; Dora Lee Moore, Virginia Gray Dennis, Eva Estelle Bunn and brother Edwin Brooks Drake.

She is survived by a loving family including her sisters, Annie Maude Turner of Temperance Hall, Alice Mae Williams and husband Alton of Temperance Hall; brother, A.J. Drake of Pinetops; daughter- in-laws, Kathy Reierson Stallings of Battleboro, Mary Catherine Stallings of Tarboro; sister-in-law, Peggy Coker Drake of Pinetops; grandchildren, Robert Bryan Stallings and wife, Jessica of Tarboro, Wright McBride Stallings of Battleboro, Almond Drew Stallings of Whitakers, Jamie Stallings Shelburne and husband David of Winston Salem; great grandchild, Hunter Mathisen Shelburne of Winston Salem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 730 W. Wilson St. Tarboro, NC 27886.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home from 1- 2 p.m. Saturday and other times at the home of Mary Catherine Stallings, 4443 Howard Ave. Tarboro.
