TARBORO — Mary Virginia Goff Baker, 76. died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.

Her husband, Ernest Milton Baker, and a brother, Kenny Goff, preceded Mrs. Baker in death.

Survivors include her children, Cynthia Woodard of Conetoe, Ernest M. Baker, III of Tarboro, Danny L. Baker of Tarboro, Toni J. Baker of Clayton and Phillip S. Baker of Tarboro; brothers and sisters Milton Goff of Conetoe, Gene Goff of Rocky Mount, Peggy Pollard of Conetoe, Jimmy Goff of Conetoe, Linda Proctor of Rocky Mount, Jerry Goff of Watonga, Okla., Mike Goff of Watonga, Okla. And Debbie Lewis of Rocky Mount; 10 grandchildren: Steven Baker, Kenny Vinoski, Scott Vinoski, Christina Phillips, Mary Bayliss, Danny Baker, Jr., Phillip Baker, Jr., Alex Baker, Issy Baker, Ernest “Buba” Baker, IV and eight great-grandchildren: Angel Baker, Catylin Vinoski, Colby Vinoski, Logan Vinoski, Brooks Keel, Breaz Bayliss, Bailey Bayliss and Carly Vinoski.

The family will receive friends and family at the home of their mother at 5090 U.S. 258 South from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Mary V. Baker be made to the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center, 600 Moye Blvd., Greenville.

Mrs. Bullock, a native of Wilson County and a lifelong resident of Pitt County, was a graduate of Belvoir-Falkland High School. She was engaged in farming with her husband until 1989 and was a charter member of Belvoir Free Will Baptist Church.
