Edgar “Ed” Hurdle, 63, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 from
4-7 p.m. at the fellowship hall at Temperance Hall United Methodist
Church.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie M. and Sarah Marie Hughes Hurdle and a grandson, Samual Gaston Howell.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife Maxine Proctor Hurdle; a daughter, Sandra Renee Hurdle Howell and husband, Glenn, of Tarboro and their children: Sierra Howell, Alexandria “Alex” Howell and
Steven Howell; a son, Riley Hurdle and wife, Ann Marie, of Pinetops and their children: Rylan Hurdle and Cora Hurdle; a sister, Lona Engle of Pennsylvania and brothers, Charlie Hurdle of Utah and Danny Hurdle of Virginia.
If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Temperance Hall
United Methodist Church local missions.
