TARBORO — TARBORO — Sue Dew Dupree, 69, of Tarboro, died at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on May 1, 1943 in Tarboro, the daughter of the late Kerg Staton Dew and Lucille Frazier Dew. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James “Tim” Dew and John Alfred Dew.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Dupree. She is also survived by her children, daughter Laurie Dupree Webb and husband, Jeff; son Bo Dupree and wife, Cathy; daughter Elizabeth “Puddin” Lunsford, all of Tarboro. Survived by grandchildren John (fiancé Caitlin Whitley) and Cameron Webb; Will, Staton and Clark Dupree; Logan and Anna Grace Lunsford; brothers and sisters, Kerg Dew Jr., Betty Lou Worthington, Margaret Aldridge and husband Edwin, Billy Dew and wife Carol, Benjamin Dew and wife Ginger, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 1 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Tarboro. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Tarboro. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 28 from 6:30-8:30 at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at the home at 182 Colonial Road.
