TARBORO — James Melvin “Bo” Sykes, 71, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bo is survived by his wife, Mary Louise West Sykes; step-daughters Brenda Adams of Colerain and Elaine Vaughan of Rocky Mount; step-son, Rocky Shearin of Rocky Mount; a sister, Dorothy Taylor of Tarboro and several nieces and nephews.
