TARBORO —
Bobbe Sue Harrison Bullock of Richmond, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. William Murray Bullock; and son, William Murray Bullock Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, LouEllen Lavender (Mark) of Mechanicsville, Va.; her sister, Betsy James of Tarboro, N.C.; her grandchildren, Lindsay Janson (David), Mary Macella (Matt), William Murray Bullock III (Chelsea), Laura Bullock, Morgan Lavender, Grace Lavender, Margaret Lavender; her great-grandchildren, Emily Nelson, Brendan Janson, Harrison Bullock, Katharine Janson and Elizabeth Janson; her nieces, Robin Pope (Jim) and Lisa Bullock; nephew, Bruce Bullock (Sandy); sister-in-law, Eloise Bullock; cousins, Charlotte Eckard, Lula Chappell and Beckie Evans; and friend and caregiver, James Arnold.
The family will receive friends 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Bliley's- Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, Va.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Tarboro, N.C., with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. in Clark Hall and the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary. Burial will follow immediately at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bon Secours Hospice, 5875 Bremo Road, Suite 360, Richmond, Va. 23226.
