TARBORO — PINETOPS — Pearl Cherry Jones Butler ,75, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012. A funeral service will be held 11a.m. Saturday at at Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church in Macclesfield with Dr. Dennis Love and the Rev. James Cale officiating. Burial will follow in Macclesfield Cemetery.

Pearl was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Ray Jones; sisters, Irene Pittman, Virginia Ellis; brothers, Robert Cherry, Finnie Cherry and Carl Cherry.

She is survived by a loving family including her husband, Chester Butler; daughter, Susette Lynn Jones of Macclesfield; son; Bert Daneau of Elm City; sister, Mildred Johnston of Tarboro; granddaughter, Ashley Daneau of Appleton, NY; grandson, Skylar Rooks of Edgecombe County; and many loving nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and other times at the home of Susette Jones, 2893 N. Fountain Road, Macclesfield.
