ROCKY MOUNT — Michael John Avery, 62, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Carlisle Funeral Home with
Father Mack and the Rev. Steve Edmondson officiating. Burial will be in Edgecombe Memorial Park,
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 35 years, Suzanne Allen Avery; daughter, Tami Stone, Rocky Mount; son, Paul “Jay” Demers and wife, Dana, Rocky Mount; mother, Dolores Avery, New Jersey; sister, Sandra Vallero and husband, Peter, New Jersey; grandchildren, Brittany Stone, Ashley Stone, Amanda Demers, Emilee Demers, Jessica Stone, Christopher Demers, Jeffrey Stone and Jaymie Demers; great-grandchildren, Destiney Lester, Kaitlyn Lester, Brianna Walters, Madelyn Lester and Kayleigh Demers.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. tonight.
