WHITAKERS — Robert C. “Cotton” Ruffin, 72, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Carlisle Funeral Home.
Cotton was preceded in death by his parents, Royster and Mamie Lou Ruffin and Brothers, Fred and Patrick Ruffin.
He is survived by a loving family, including his wife of 50 years, Marjorie Mitchell Ruffin, a son; Bob Ruffin and wife, Robin, of Morehead City; a grandson, Zach Ruffin of Morehead City and a brother, Kenneth “Dick” Ruffin of Tarboro.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
