TARBORO — TARBORO — Sara Boyd Windley, 78, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at 2:00 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Sara is preceded in death by her husband, William V. “Bill” Windley.

She is survived by her family, including a granddaughter, Jessica Nelson, of Tarboro; two grandsons, Andrew Gallinoto, Jr., of Greenville and Brad Gallinoto, of Greenville; three great-grandchildren, Caleb Nelson, Chrislyn Moss and Addisyn Parrisher and a son-in-law, Andrew “Butch” Gallinoto.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:30-8:30 p. m. on Wednesday, March 20, at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bullock, a native of Wilson County and a lifelong resident of Pitt County, was a graduate of Belvoir-Falkland High School. She was engaged in farming with her husband until 1989 and was a charter member of Belvoir Free Will Baptist Church.
