TARBORO — Dollie Waters Cannon Manning, 77 died Sunday.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Sammy Wood officiating.

Dollie retired after 38 years of service with Edgecombe Martin County Electric Membership Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Ray Cannon and Ralph Gilbert Manning.

She is survived by her loving family, including her daughters, Melody Radford and husband, Gregg of Rocky Mount, Shannon Simmons and husband, Bo of Tarboro; son, Marvin Rodney Cannon and Ann Munford of Benson; grandchildren, Kira Lanfranchi and husband, Paul and their son, Eli, Rachel Radford, Brittany Cannon and Haley Cannon; grand dog, Cupid; step-sons, Thomas Manning and wife, Janice Bobby Manning and wife, Ann

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to your local Humane Society, West Edgecombe Baptist Church Handicap Memorial Fund or Tarboro Church of God, 412 Shirley St., Tarboro, NC 27886.

The family will receive friends at the home of Bo and Shannon Simmons.

    BELVOIR — Mrs. Mattie Ruth Bullock, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.
    Mrs. Bullock, a native of Wilson County and a lifelong resident of Pitt County, was a graduate of Belvoir-Falkland High School.  She was engaged in farming with her husband until 1989 and was a charter member of Belvoir Free Will Baptist Church.
