JOHN R. PITT JR.
John Rufus Pitt Jr., 48, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery, near Farmville.
Pitt is survived by his mother, Irene Pitt of Pinetops; four sisters, Annie Pitt of Philadelphia, Pa., Christine Lyons and Delores Ann Pitt, both of Pinetops, and Sandra Edwards of Washington, D.C.; and one brother, Elvis Pitt of Raleigh.
A wake will be 7-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Funeral arrangements are by Dickens Funeral Service, Tarboro.
