TARBORO — Grace Winchester Denton 99, died Thursday. A Graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery with Peggy Rodgers Leggett officiating.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Denton

She is survived by her loving family including, daughter, Jean D. Rogerson and husband, Billy of Cary; son, Richard H. Denton and wife, Jeannette, Manteo; grandchildren, Paul K. Rogerson and wife, Molly of Raleigh, Betsy Harris and husband, Greg, of Santa Clarita, Calf., Kimberly Snyder of Manteo, Susan Crumpton of Durham

Richard H. Denton, Jr. of Kitty Hawk; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church, 303 E. St. James St., Tarboro, N. C. 27886.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
