TARBORO — Charlie Edmondson, Jr., 81, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. Funeral Services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in the Carlisle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Julian Thompson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

He is survived by his loving family; his wife, Frances Bundy Edmondson; daughters, Doris Whitaker, and husband, Billy, of Conetoe, Ellen Holloman, and husband, David, of Tarboro; son; Charlie Wayne Edmondson, of Zebulon, Tommy Edmondson, of Deep Run; a sister, Viola Weeks, of Tarboro; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home of Tarboro.

Mrs. Bullock, a native of Wilson County and a lifelong resident of Pitt County, was a graduate of Belvoir-Falkland High School. She was engaged in farming with her husband until 1989 and was a charter member of Belvoir Free Will Baptist Church.
