The following people were arrested and charged with crimes by the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office during the past week:
September 23
• Trimaine Ke'art Knight, 32, of 613 Coker Town Road, Whitakers, was charged with driving while license revoked. He was jailed under a $1,100 secured bond.
September 24
• Terrell Austin, 19, of 1021 Nashville Road, Rocky Mount, was charged with failure to appear in court. he was jailed under a $15,000 secured bond.
September 25
• Malcom Antonio Smith, 40, of 309 Second St., Princeville, was charged with two counts of failure to comply with child support order. He was jailed under a $1,000 cash bond.
• Jemeka Nicole Brown, 16, of 832 Lincoln Road, Rocky Mount, was charged with simple affray.
• Gregg Tyquan Higgs, 18, of 3214 NC 111/122 S, Pinetops, was charged with simple affray.
September 26
• Alexis Earl Perry, 45, of 305 Batts Chapel Road, Tarboro, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. He was held without bond.
September 27
• Jereyleus Thigpen, 18, of 404 Neville St., Princeville, was charged with breaking and entering and larceny. He was jailed under a $2,500 secured bond.
September 29
• Terry Darcell Dunbar, 29, of NC 111/122 S, Tarboro, was charged with assault on a female, resist obstruct public officer and simple possession of schedule II controlled substance.
September 30
• William Bud Viverette, 35, of 540 Calbrad Road, Rocky Mount, was charged with failure to return rental property.
• Tijuana Pippin Williams, 49, of 109 Kathryn Lane, Tarboro, was charged with driving while license revoked permanent.
• Darrin Parker, Jr., 25, of 600 Cascade Ave., Rocky Mount, was charged with failure to appear in court.
• Johnnie Earl Williams, 40, of 294 Laurel Lane, Tarboro, was charged with violation of court. He was jailed under a $770 cash bond.
October 1
• Joshua Herman Mclain, 17, of 4776 Hwy. 97 E, Tarboro, was charged with disorderly conduct. He was jailed under a $2,500 secured bond.
