Edgecombe County’s 4-H organization has the answer to all of your holiday shopping questions — the 12th Annual 4-H Simply Shopping … “Making the Holidays Magical.”
The arts and crafts show, which also includes a dinner and specialty programs, gets under way at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 at the East Carolina Agriculture & Education Center, located at 1175 Kingsboro Road.
There are two methods of entry — free from 4-6 p.m. with a contribution of a canned good item to support “4-H Hunger to Help” community service project or by ticket for $15. Ticketed patrons may come as early as 4, but from 6-9 p.m. they will enjoy the dinner and specialty programs and have access to
Holiday shoppers will have the opportunity to make a major dent in their gift giving list at “Making the Holidays Magical.” Thirteen vendors from throughout the region will be featuring a wide variety of items — including handcrafted jewelry, art, handbags of all shapes and sizes, personalized and monogrammed items, food items, women’s accessories and more.
In addition, the event provides a wide variety of decorating ideas, opportunities to purchase unique and personalized gifts and helps shoppers get into the spirit of the season.
