Members of the Tarboro Master Gardeners met with town and NCDOT representatives to present their landscaping design for the traffic circle at the entrance to the Tar River Bridge on Main Street. In approving the design, NCDOT representative Tim Robbins, expressed appreciation for the beautification steps being taken on this new segment of state highway. The traffic circle will be planted in a compass rose design using evergreens, shrub roses and colorful perennials, with a mature ornamental tree in the center.
