PRINCEVILLE — Princeville recently received five vehicles from the City of Durham.
The three police cruisers, the trash truck and dump truck were donations from the city and will be utilized by the town as soon as possible.
Princeville Mayor Priscilla Everette-Oates and Town Manager Victor Marrow said that the Board of Commissioners is considering the town having its own trash pick-up but that decision will come after budget talks and after reviewing other factors.
The three police cars will bring the Princeville fleet up to seven.
"It's a plus," Everette-Oates said. "We're starting out good this term."
