Two Princeville teenagers were shot at Riverside Private Club on N.C. 33 north of Tarboro early Sunday morning, and so far authorities have no suspects.
Edgecombe County Sheriff James Knight said the victims, Quantavius Bellamy, 16, and Dominick Harper, 19, both of Prinecville, had injuries that were not life-threatening. One of them was shot in the shoulder, the other in the leg, and Knight said they both were able to drive themselves to Heritage Hospital in Tarboro for treatment.
Knight said that his office received a call about a fight in the club's parking lot around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. He said that once his deputies arrived, they were told two gunshot victims had driven themselves to the hospital.
The sheriff said that "several fights" had occurred at the night club, and that someone had started shooting during one of them.
He added that there are no suspects in the shooting at this time.
