Princeville man charged with selling weed in parking lot
A Princeville man faces drug charges after allegedly selling marijuana from his vehicle in Tarboro.
Rickey Gray Grant Jr., 28, of 111 Fifth St. was charged by the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office with; one felony count of possession of 8 ounces of marijuana; one felony count of maintaining a vehicle for the selling of a controlled; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
Sheriff James Knight said that Grant was observed selling marijuana from his vehicle in the Lakeside Trailer Park area.
Knight also said that a 1996 Chevy Caprice, $259, eight ounces of marijuana, digital scales and plastic bags were confiscated.
Grant is being held in the Edgecombe County Detention Center under a $1,000 bond.
