Jason and Jennifer Kirkland Boyd and son Ethan McCrae Boyd of Lowell announce the birth of a son and brother, Anderson Carter Boyd born Oct. 19, 2006, at Gaston County Memorial Hospital in Gastonia.
Anderson weighed seven pounds, three ounces and was 21 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Thurman and Jennie Kirkland of Tarboro.
Paternal grandparents are Paul and Brenda Boyd of Gastonia.
Maternal great-grandparents are Noah and Evelyn Howard and Joe and Mildred Taylor, all of Tarboro.
Paternal great-grandparents are the late Raymond and Vernie Boyd of Gastonia and the late James and Ruth Powell of Spring Hope
