Christopher and Susan Allen of Pinetops announce the birth of a daughter, Gabrielle Elizabeth, born Oct. 4, 2006, at Heritage Hospital.

Gabrielle weighed six pounds, two ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Danny and Wanda Yost of Ayden.

Paternal grandparents are Dennis and Lynette Allen of Pinetops.

Maternal great-greatparents are Phillip and Edna Taylor of Tarboro.

Paternal great-grandparents are Joyce Webb and the late Franklin Webb of Macclesfield.

Great-great-grandmother is Irene Pilgreen of Scotland Neck.

    The Reverend John Melancon performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Michael Whitley. Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. James Carlton Jernigan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Lane Whitley.
