TARBORO — To the Editor:

The hope and change as promised by candidate Barack Obama in 2008 has failed our country miserably. We cannot afford four more years under his failed leadership.

Our deficit is unbelievable, but spending is one of the largest items on his agenda, in addition to all the free hand-outs. He has done nothing to improve the economy, employment and housing, etc.

We have recipients who are on Medicaid, Medicare, disability, food stamps — and are still working and then reaches for anything else that comes available as a free hand-out.

It’s time to get Barack Obama and all of his colleagues out of the White House and save our country from further degredation. We have had too much of this since 2008. Enough is enough.

Thanks Barack Obama for letting hope and change fail.

To the Editor;
What are you (ECC) thinking?
ECC teaching how to drink wine? Which is alcohol. ECC Foundation selling alcoholic drinks. Children will be there looking and learning. They are good music bands for a good cause, leave the alcohol out and all of its side effects.
What are you thinking?
Wonder how long before it will be taught in Public Schools. Would it not be better for everyone to teach abstinence?
What about it Mother's Against Drunk Driving? What do you think?
