Golden Kiwanis

Meeting at the E.L.  Roberson Center at 9:45am. The speaker is Mr.  Ken Lautzenheiser. Ken is responsible for Publicity for the Edgecombe County Veterans Military Museum and the Colonial Theatre.



JULY 19

Design your own Black Light T-Shirt

From 2-3:30pm in the Warner Meeting Room of the Edgecombe County Memorial Library. For more information call 252-442-1951, ext. 257.



Gift Bingo

The Happy Senior Citizens Club will be sponsoring gift bingo on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7-9pm at the E.L. Roberson Center.

Women’s Club

Will meet at Abrams Restaurant at 6:30pm.  Guest Speaker will be Ed Goodwin.



Video Night

NO CHARGE. At the Edgecombe County Veterans Museum at 7pm. See a different perspective compared to traditional biographies. Featured are Generals Pershing, Custer and Field Marshall Mongomery. Non-members are welcome.

American Legion Eason Tiney Post 19

Division 1 Meeting at Post 425 Littleton. Meal at 6pm and Meeting at 7pm.



JULY 21

Open Car, Motorcycle & Truck Show

The Heaven Bound Custom Car Club is hosting this event for the Edgecombe County Veteran Museum to help raise money. From 8am-1pm is registration and awards will be given at 3pm.  50/50 drawing, DJ, Hot dogs, and the top 50 will win a Trophy. Train the Tutor

The Twin Counties Literacy Council is sponsoring this event at Edgecombe County Memorial Library from 9:30am - 4:30pm on July 21st and July 28th. Trainees must attend both sessions. After being trained, volunteers will be qualified to provide tutoring in literacy to interested Edgecombe county residents. 252-823-1141.



JULY 23

STEM Camp

STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) Camp for rising 6th-8th graders meets on the Tarboro campus of ECC. Camp meets 8am-5pm daily. Hands-on activities will include soldering, electronics, physics experiements, programming, and Lego Mindstorms kits. Fee is $50. Contact 823-5166, ext. 273, or stamilior@edgecombe.edu.

Community Watch

The Town of Conetoe is having a community watch meeting at the Town Hall at 7pm.
