“The War Zone”

WWII off the North Carolina Coast

Proceeds to Edgecombe County Veterans Museum to restore  the Colonial  Theater. Author and documentary filmmaker, Kevin Duffus will offer a 55 minute presentation at 6pm at the Clark Hall of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Tarboro. For more information email banksies@embarqmail.com.

Litter Sweep

Litter clean-up supplies will be handed out during the 8:30am registration andparticipants will be given water and snacks. A consortium of community organizations and individuals committed to preventing HIV/AIDS in Edgecombe and Nash counties. We are looking for African American youth between the ages of 10 and 14 and their adult caregivers to participate in a research study to help them talk  more about risky sex behaviors and how to say no.
