Wreath Decorating Class


The E.L. Roberson Center in conjunction with ECC will be offering a class for those 55 and older. The class will be once a week for four weeks from 1-3pm. cost of the class is $20. Center will supply the wreaths and participants will supply what they would like to put on the wreaths. For more information call 641-4263.

Youth Rap Session


At the Braswell Center at 5pm, for ages 12-18.  This forum is for the young adults to voice their opinions,  issues or whatever is on their minds. For more information  come by the center or call 641-4210.

America In Bloom


Organizational meeting at Calbary Parrish House, on Church Street entrance, at 5:15pm. Two, America In Bloom, judges will be present. Please attend and contribute to continuing to grow OUR community.



Ebonette Club of Tarboro

Will host a final meeting for high school seniors interested in MLK Oratorical Contest at 6pm. Edgecombe County Memorial Library.

The City of Rocky Mt. is providing a huge ice skating rink for some Holiday fun. Sessions start on the hour and last 15 minutes. Come out for your session before or after the Christmas Parade. Low-Income Engergy Assistance


The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) gives families a one-time vendor payment to help pay their heating bills. Applications will be taken for disabled persons receiving a service through the Division of Aging and Adult Services or for households with a member age 60 and older. For application sites in
