Ready Readers Book Club

ECML Library Sponsored Club will meet and discuss the book “CURE” by Robin Cook, at 6pm in the Pender Room. New members welcome.



Braswell Center

   Having game day for ages 7-12 on every Monday starting the 12th at 4:30pm. Games like UNO, Go Fish, You Sank My Battleship, Candy Land, etc. There will be prizes given out to the winners. There is no fee for residents, $25 for non-residents of Tarboro. Call 641-4210.



America In Bloom

Jack Clasen with America In Bloom, a national beautification organization will be at Calvary Parish House, 411 E. Church St., at 11am to discuss how this program can greatly enhance Tarboro. Visit www.americainbloom.org for additional information.

Golden Kiwanis

Meets at the E.L. Roberson Center at 9:45am. The speaker is Joyce Taylor, Executive Director of the Edgecombe County Arts Council.



ECC-CPR

CPR for Healthcare Providers meets on the Rocky Mt. campus from 5-10pm. Fee is $65. Call 823-5166, ext. 175.



Down East Senior Games Clinic

   The E.L. Roberson Center is hosting a DESG Clinic from 12-3pm on the Town Common. If there is a game you haven’t tried before and would like to practice this is the perfect time. Also, if you know a friend that would be interested in the games this is a good day for them to come get info. and try some of the games out. for more information call 641-4263.

Gift Bingo

The Happy Senior Citizens Club will be sponsoring gift bingo on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.L. Roberson Center.

Juvenile Crime Prevention

The Edgecombe & Nash County Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils will meet at 2pm at the East Carolina Agriculture & Education Center located at 1175 Kingsboro Rd.

   At the Community Building in Conetoe from 5-7pm. All You Can Eat sausage, eggs, grits, side meat, pancakes and beverage.

   Stroke Risk Screening from 9am-1pm at the Edgecombe County Administrative Bldg.

Saint Anne’s Chapel
