CPR for the general public meets on the Tarboro campus of ECC. Class meets 8am-5pm.  Fee is $65.  Call 823-5166, ext.  175.

Tire Manufacturing


A 4-week Intro class begins on the Rocky Mt. campus. A day class meets 9am-noon Tues-Thurs. An evening class meets 6-9pm Tues-Thurs. Fee is $145. Successful complettion  of this course is a requirement for employment consideration at Bridgestone in Wilson, NC.  To register contact andersong@edgecombe.edu or  823-5166, ext. 197.

Will meet at the Albemarle  at noon. there will be a luncheon and a fashion show with local vendors and local models. All proceeds go the the local Sallie Southall Cotton Scholarship. Book Club


Will meet in the Pender Room at the Library at 10:30am. The book “Breathing Lessons” by Anne Tyler will be discussed.



Happy Senior Citizens Club

New York Theatre Ballet


Will present “An Evening  of Mixed Repertory” at  7:30pm at the Keihin Auditorium. This event is sponsored by the Furman-Mathewson Trust of the Edgecombe County Memorial Library.  Admission if FREE but tickets are required an may be picked up at the library or ECC box office after Oct. 1st.

Councils meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month. 2pm at the East Carolina Ag & Education Center in Rocky Mt. The Public is invited to attend.
