Proceeds to Edgecombe County Veterans Museum to restore the Colonial Theater. Author and documentary filmmaker, Kevin Duffus will offer a 55 minute presentation at 6pm at the Clark Hall of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Tarboro. For more information email banksies@embarqmail.com.

Litter Sweep
Litter clean-up supplies will be handed out during the 8:30am registration andparticipants will be given water and snacks. Plans include clean-up of Indian Lake Park, 3202 Western Blvd. ending around 11am. Volunteers are encouraged to pre-register by calling the Tarboro Parks & Recreation, Jean Grimes at 252-641-4263.

Open House
Tarboro Fire Dept.
From 2-5pm. Truck displays, water rescue equipment trailer, thermal imaging camera and its usage in rescuing victims from total darkness. We will be serving hot dogs and drinks to the kids, and games for kids and the Tarboro Police Dept. will be having a K9 display on site. Come out and show your support to your local firefighters and have a great time with us. Kids and Adults alike will enjoy seeing what we do as firefighters and get a first hand experience of how we do our job.
