Game Day

APRIL 10

HIV/AIDS Awareness


ECC and T.I.P.S. will be presenting a HIV/AIDS Awareness play entitled “Let’s Talk About Sex” from 12 noon until 2pm. This event is FREE and open to the public. Health care professionals will be on campus to answer any questions. Free testing will also be available. Floral Design

An 8-week class begins on the Rocky Mt. campus of ECC. Class meets from 6-8pm in room 163.  Cost is $30. Call 446-0436, ext. 357.

Teacher Training

A 1-week Effective Teacher Training class for  substitute teachers meets April 10-13 on the Rocky Mount campus of ECC. Class meets from 9am-4pm, Mon-Thurs. Cost is $65. Pre-registration is required. Call 446-0436, ext. 357.



Medication Aide

A 3-week Medication Aide class begins on the Rocky Mount campus of ECC. Class meets Tues/Thurs 5:30-9:30pm. Cost is $65. Call 446-0436, ext. 322.



NARFE

Edgecombe-Nash Retired Shcool Personnel

Will meet at 10:30am in the Braswell Memorial Library Warner Room.



Progressive Democrats Club

Will meet at our district #2 Headquarters. All members are ask to attend; and bring your neighbors and some friends.



Frisbee Toss

Zumba Class

You must be 18 years old to take the class. Will be every Tuesday for 6 weeks at the Braswell Center from 5:30pm-6:30pm.Resident cost $18, Non-Resident Cost $36. For more info. call 641-4210.



APRIL 11

Dog Obedience


A 3-week Dog Obedience-Small and Medium dogs class begins on the Tarboro campus of ECC. Class meets 6-8pm Wed.-Thurs. Cost is $35. Call 823-5166, ext. 293 or 220.

Golden Kiwanis

Will meet at the Fountains at the Albemarle at 10:15am. The speaker will be Jennifer Chauis Purnell from Edward Jones.

Sweetness Baking Class

For ages 9-18, every Wed. at the Braswell Center at 4:30pm. There is a $5 fee for residents, $25 for non-residents. Must have 8 kids to have the program. For more info. call  641-4210.

Vidant Edgecombe Hospital Gala


The 8th Annual hospital gala. “On The Square” is catering, silent auction, beach music band, “The Fantastic Shakers”. Call 641-8291 to get your tickets.

Dance A Thon
