TARBORO — Mr. Lester B. Brown, Sr. of Rocky Mount is happy to announce the engagement of his granddaughter, Sarah Megan Brown, to James Charles Alderman, son of Steve and Beverly Alderman of Tarboro. Megan is the daughter of the late Jamie C. Brown. A private wedding for the immediate family and close friends is planned for October 13, at 11 o'clock in the morning at The Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, NC. Reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
