WINSTON-SALEM — Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem reported that the following students, all of Edgecombe County, graduated from WSSU and received their degrees during the 2009 Spring Commencement ceremony:
• Da’Charles Battle of Tarboro received a degree in computer science.
• Joy Lyons Dodd of Tarboro received a degree in nursing.
• Monica Renee Cross of Hobgood received a degree in nursing.
• Felicia Renee Farmer of Rocky Mount received a degree in nursing.
• Brandon J. Moore of Rocky Mount received a degree in economics.
• Brittney Nichole Bryant of Rocky Mount received a degree in elementary education.
Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem also reported that the following students, all of Edgecombe County, were named to the Winston-Salem State University’s 2009 Dean’s List.
