Autumn Bearden of Tarboro has been selected to compete in the 2013 Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Raleigh Pageant, which will take place on Sunday, Nov. 11.
The daughter of Curtis and Melody Bearden, she will be competing in the Miss Jr. Pre-Teen division. There are four divisions for young women between the ages of 7 and 19.
A fourth-grade student at Carver Elementary, Autumn plans to further her education at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and become a marine biologist.
