Teen Dating Violence will be the topic at the first in a series of community education sessions hosted by Eastpoint LME/MCO in an effort to assist the public in understanding current behavioral health issues.
The series will be held the second week of the month from 6-7:15 p.m. Thursday at the Edgecombe County Memorial Library.
Lozen Parker Pittman, sexual assault advocate for My Sister's House, a local domestic violence shelter, will be the first speaker in the series. Registration for the free sessions is preferred, but not required.
