RALEIGH — Business After Hours – Call to book your business for a monthly Business After Hours.  Business After Hours is usually held the second or fourth Thursday of the month from 5:30-7 p.m. 

As a reminder, Business After Hours is a premier networking event for business owners and professionals while also providing the opportunity to showcase the host business. Call the Chamber to reserve your month to host the next Chamber Business After Hours 823-7241.

Tarboro-Edgecombe Farmers Market – At 507 Albemarle Ave., next to the fire station. Open Tuesdays and Fridays 7 to 10 a.m., Saturdays 8 to 11 a.m. Fresh veggies, breads, cakes, jellies, jams even books can be found for sale at the Farmers Market.

Business After Hours – The Links at Cotton Valley will host the July Business after Hours from  5:30 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 29. Join your fellow Chamber members for food, adult beverages and networking! Tom Johnson will have the pro shop open, carts available for guests to tour the course and the putting green ready for a friendly putting contest! Did you know The Links at Cotton Valley also has rental space for your special event? Contact Tom at 824-0818 for more information. Catering provided by 33 Grill & Oyster Bar and Thorne Drugs.

Edgecombe  County Memorial Library Summer Reading Program  – Story time is every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Tarboro and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in Pinetops. Visit

TECC Time Tickets on Sale – The Chamber’s TECC Time will be on Thursday, Aug. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Edgecombe Community College’s Mobley Atrium. This year only 250 tickets will be available for a chance to win $3,000! Tickets are $75 each and admits TWO people to the event which includes a barbecue dinner, reverse raffle and silent auction. Purchase tickets at the Chamber office or by calling 823-7241. Don’t miss your chance at holding the winning ticket!
