Ribeyes coming to Tarboro in 2011

TARBORO — Snow Hill-based Ribeyes Inc. has announced the coming of the franchise's newest Ribeyes Steakhouse at 1404 Western Blvd. in Tarboro.

"I couldn't be happier to be bringing Ribeyes to my hometown," said Chris Wooten, who will own and operate the Tarboro location. "look forward to ensuring everyone who visits has a unique and satisfying dining experience."

Wooten, who also owns the Jersey Mike’s franchise at 150 River Oak Drive in Tarboro, said that he plans  to open the new restaurant in early 2011.

Founded in April 2003, Ribeyes serves only choice, mid-westem, grain-fed beef from Omaha Steaks. The ribeye is cut from only Angus beef cattle, which are bred for superior marbling and texture.

All Ribeyes Steakhouse beef is aged for 21 days for tenderness and is shipped fresh, never frozen. Each cut is then trimmed of excess fat prior to grilling.

The Ribeyes Steakhouse menu consists of ribeye steaks, grilled, boneless chicken breasts,  grilled shrimp, grilled pork chops,  grilled tuna or salmon, steamed vegetables and baked potatoes or sweet potatoes, served with made-fresh-daily salad bar and Texas toast.

Ribeyes of Tarboro will offer a fast and affordable lunch service as well as dinner.

A children's menu is also available, which will offer grilled chicken fingers, grilled shrimp, grilled cheese sandwiches and Angus burgers. All children's meals are served with potato or baked chips, Texas toast and a pickle spear.

As is the Ribeyes Steakhouse dinner concept, during dinner service, Ribeyes Steakhouse cooks actually come out from behind the grill and take the food orders to ensure all meals are cooked to customers' specific requests.

"No doubt the quality of product we use is far above most, but add in the great care we take in pleasing each of our customers and why would you eat anywhere other than Ribeyes Steakhouse," said Director of Operations for Ribeyes Inc. Roger Kearney. "We enjoy your business and we work hard to keep it. Ribeyes Steakhouse keeps the menu simple and offers each customer the very best in food, service, price and atmosphere."

The dining room at Ribeyes of Tarboro will seat 60 with an additional 24 seats in the bar.

All Ribeyes Steakhouses have a private dining room known as The Angus Room that can be used for special occasions, meetings or seminars. Tarboro's Angus Room will comfortably seat 40.

The Tarboro location will be the ninth location in the Ribeyes franchise in Eastern North Carolina.

Other locations include Beaufort, Cape Carteret, Clinton, Henderson, Louisburg, Nashville, New Bem and Williamston.
