	This past weekend, Moore, who is sponsored by the Tarboro Optimist Club, won a $2,500 scholarship in the North Carolina East District of Optimist International Male Oratorical contest in Goldsboro. In total, he has competed in 13 competitions and has generated more than $3,000 in scholarship money.&lt;/p&gt;
