      <title>Tarboro man charged  in Sunday murder</title>

	A Tarboro man was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree murder after he allegedly fatally shot a man early Sunday morning.&lt;br /&gt;
	Sean Christopher White, 36, of 2501 St. Andrew St., Tarboro, was arrested Monday and charged with the murder of 40-year-old Christopher Lorenzo Curtis. He is in the Edgecombe County Detention Center being held without bond.&lt;/p&gt;

	The Edgecombe County Board of Education hired two administrators during a special meeting Tuesday to replace a retiree and a medical leave absentee principal Tuesday during a special called meeting.&lt;br /&gt;
	Stephanie Alston will replace retiring Russell Johnson at Stocks Elementary School and Raymond Privott will sit in while Dr. Lisa Cooke is on medical leave.&lt;br /&gt;
	Privott ventured out of retirement again to assume the role of interim assistant principal at Tarboro High School. Privott&amp;#39;s return will mark the fourth time that he left the comfort of retirement to rejoin Edgecombe County Public Schools as an interim principal or assistant principal.&lt;/p&gt;

	According to a copy of a warrant obtained from the Edgecombe County Courthouse, Diana Lee Draughn, 46, of Scotland Neck, was charged with two counts of embezzlement from April 26, 2010 through Dec. 16, 2010.&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;
