Louis and Henrietta Best of Tarboro celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at The Links at Cotton Valley with a reception hosted by their children: Joyce Viverette and husband, Randolph; L.A. Best and wife Susan; Marsha Long; Denny Best and wife Becky and Donna Holland and husband Bobby. The Bests have 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The couple was married on October 4, 1941 at Eagle Baptist Church in Crisp.
Henrietta Best is the former Henrietta Dennie.
